It seems as though a cold is going around. In fact, as I write this, I am listening to my neighbor having a sneezing fit—Egad! So here is a break from our regular programming to bring you my favorite sickness preventing and alleviating tea that is simultaneously delicious and somewhat horrible at the same time.
Part of the fun of this recipe is winging it. I have only included rough estimates of ingredients. The chili and oil of oregano are the two ingredients you want to be very careful not to over do it with because they are both—obviously—very potent.
- 1/2 of a Lemon
- Ginger (cut into chunks)
- Honey (or preferred sweetener) to taste
- Red Chili Powder or Cayenne to taste
- 4 drops Oil of Oregano
1. Put all ingredients into your most comforting mug and add boiling water.
2. The tea will have steeped enough when it is cool enough to drink.
3. Feel better & enjoy!
